Turkey land of dreams
Istanbul, a fascinating city built on two Continents, divided by
the Bosphorus strait this is one of the greatest cities in the world
where you can see a modern western city combined with a traditional
eastern city, it's a melting pot of many civilizations and different
people.
Iraq Mega Projects 2010 took place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 26-28
October. Global Petro Tech attended as exhibitor and had Gainful
Meetings with visitors from Turkey, UK, Iraq, Germany and other
countries.
About the conference, this first gathering involved the major
stakeholders in the energy industry, some of who are currently stationed
in Iraq and those that are looking to enter. Over 350 delegates
attended the conference and the sold out exhibition means there is
certainly a scope for the programme to be developed on for next year.
The interactive workshop was successful with eight Iraqi experts looking
in detail at the contracts to find potential pitfalls and offering
solutions to the participant’s questions on local Iraqi practises.
